Thomas Road Baptist Church in Phoenix, Arizona (TRBC Phoenix) is very concerned about the privacy of our website visitors. We have implemented a privacy policy in regard to this website (trbcphx.org). Please read this statement before using this website so you will understand fully how we use the information provided to us.
Information Collection & Use
TRBC Phoenix is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to third parties except as required by law. TRBC Phoenix collects information from our visitors at several different points in our website. Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
Contact Us
When using the “Contact Us” section or link on this website, we use information that includes first name, last name, email address, and message voluntarily submitted by the visitor. The information is used to respond to questions, concerns and feedback from the visitor.
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser visitor agent string to help spam detection. The comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. After approval of your comment, your profile picture, if any, is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Financial Transactions
If you perform a financial transaction, you must provide information including, but not limited to: name, address, email address, and financial information; including but not limited to, credit card information or bank account information.
Our church uses Tithely Church Management software (formerly Breeze ChMS). Tithe.ly is used to perform the transaction processing. They are a link in the distribution chain and will use the information provided to process the transaction. Personal financial information is stored by Tithe.ly only if a recurring payment is set up by the visitor.
Cookies
A cookie is a piece of data stored on the visitor’s hard drive containing information about the you. The cookie will contain your username so that the website will recognize you on subsequent visits. Your password can be stored in the cookie at your request (optional) so there is no need to enter it on every visit to the site. The cookie will also contain your preferences on what information will be shown to you on the homepage. If you reject the cookie, you may still use our site. You may not be able to access certain areas of the site. Cookies can also enable us to track and target the interests of our visitors to enhance their experience on our site.
Members Page
Church Members are able to sign in to the church management software through the “Members” page. The member is required to be invited by an Administrator in order to gain access to the software. Once invited, they can update their password and sign in. After signing in, the member is able to view and update his/her own profile and view his/her own giving information.
Prayer Wall
You do not have to be a member of TRBC Phoenix to provide a Prayer Request on the Prayer Wall. Enter your name, email address, phone number and prayer request. You are given the option to share anonymously or to share online. You can also request to receive an email when the request has been prayed for. The information viewed by those who visit the Prayer Wall is the name and the request only. The name, email address, phone number and prayer request submitted are emailed to website administrators. The information is used to approve the request, and to contact the visitor if contact is requested.
Log Files
TRBC Phoenix uses IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, track visitor’s movement within the site, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information.

This website may at times contain links to other sites. TRBC Phoenix is not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. You are encouraged to be aware of when you leave our site and to read the privacy statements of each and every website that collects personally identifiable information. TRBC Phoenix takes every precaution to protect your information. This website is considered a secure site. Any information provided by you is emailed to and used by Administrators at Thomas Road Baptist Church for its intended purpose only. Personal information is not transmitted to any other location. Personal membership information is stored on protected computer systems that are behind a firewall to keep this data secure.

This website does not gather any other supplemental information to be used by TRBC Phoenix or any third-party company.
Correction/Updating Personal Information
If your email address changes, or if you no long desire our service, you can send a message on the website using “Contact Us”. You can also contact the church office by email at [email protected] or by phone at 623-247-5735 to have your information changed or to remove you from any contact lists.
Notification of Changes
If there are changes to our privacy policy, they will be posted on our Homepage so everyone can be made aware of specific changes. TRBC Phoenix uses the Grasshopper App as their phone provider. Message frequency varies by events/preference. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undeliverable messages. Some of the text messages we send may include links to websites. To access these websites, you will need a web browser and internet access.

At Thomas Road Baptist Church, we respect your privacy. By opting into our SMS messaging service, you agree to the following terms regarding how we handle your data:

This information will be gathered through our Contact US form, instructions on how to opt-in and out for SMS consent is given through Keywords. To opt-in, START, YES. Opt-out, STOP or CANCEL.
Data Usage: We use your data solely for informational text messages, and some occasions, promotional messages related to our service.
Data Security: We protect your data with secure storage measures to prevent unauthorized access.
Data Retention: We retain your information as long as you are subscribed to our SMS service. You may request deletion at any time.
